Phasing

After all, aren't all men constantly on the verge of turning into a hairy beast?

Inspired by Jacob Black from the Twilight series, Wolverine from X-Men and shap-shifters in general, this painting depicts the question, what would a werewolf look like in mid-phase? The light and shadow represent the duplicity of his life, as his eye reflects the new moon. I can almost hear his howling now...
